Stainless Steel Horizontal Plunger Pump for Filter Press
Filter press feed pump for energy-efficient slurry feeding in solid-liquid separation applications
Conventional slurry pumps and screw pumps rely on motor torque to drive an impeller or screw for material transfer. In contrast, the horizontal energy-saving plunger pump converts motor torque into hydraulic energy with higher energy density to drive a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder pushes the piston inside the material cylinder to perform feeding and discharging operations. This mechanism enables energy savings of 28%–70% compared with conventional feed pumps operating at the same flow rate.

Features
- High pressure and enhanced efficiency: Compared with traditional slurry and screw pumps, horizontal plunger pumps deliver significantly higher operating pressure (up to 2 MPa), improving filtration efficiency, increasing filter cake thickness, and reducing moisture content.
- Upgraded guiding and sealing structure: A universal joint connection absorbs dimensional deviations between the hydraulic cylinder, coupling, barrel, and frame, reducing seal wear and extending service life.
- Specialized sealing components: Custom-formulated sealing materials and structural designs significantly enhance the sealing system’s durability.
- Smart lubrication system: A metered, timed lubrication system supplies precise lubrication to dual guide seal groups. The closed-loop lubrication design prevents oil waste, avoids environmental contamination, and eliminates accelerated seal wear caused by human error.
- Low-speed reciprocating motion: The slow-reciprocating (back-and-forth) motion extends service life compared with fast-reciprocating pumps, although the structure cost is higher.
- Operation status indicator lights: A visual signal system helps operators easily identify pump operating status, while commands and analysis are processed through the PLC.
- Wide application range: Suitable for municipal wastewater, dyeing wastewater, electroplating wastewater, biological wastewater, and other non-sand, non-hard-particle slurry materials.
